TLI provide an unrivalled consultancy service for the golf course and sports turf maintenance industry. Being independent of any distributors or suppliers, we are able to offer the correct advice and recommendations at all times, and do not promote products purely for self benefit. TLI can provide a consultancy service and maintenance program for any budget, allowing many small to mid size golf and sports facilities to have access to the knowledge and support that they require to improve and solidify their position in the entertainment market. Such a service can be provided on a weekly, monthly or occasional basis, depending upon the scope of work, the expectations of the facility and the budget available.

The aim of TLI whilst consulting is to provide sufficient training of management and staff, agronomically correct maintenance programs and technical information that results in, over a period of time, that the consultancy service required by a facility can be reduced, and finally removed altogether. Unlike some other consultancy services that seem to try to “hostage” a facility or organisation into using its service by failing to train or educate staff, we aim to provide all the know-how, information and training required for the existing or local staff to be able to professionally maintain a facility, so that eventually our consultancy service is no longer required.

Tropical Landscaping International has a developed and proven training program that provides the knowledge and skills required for a full range of turf management and maintenance procedures and a unique course rating system that allows a facility to graphically and numerically determine its current condition. Through-out the consultancy process we work as one with the management and staff of a facility with the desired end result, being pristine playing conditions at a reasonable price. 

 

DESIGN 

Tropical Landscaping International work with a large range of golf course architects throughout Asia, either helping to implement their design ideas to construction completion or by assisting Golf Course Owners with the selection of a suitable golf course designer. TLI firmly believes that golf courses should be designed to last, not just in terms of the game of golf itself but also, more importantly, for environmental sustainability and return of investment to the owner of the golf course.

TLI also can provide a turn-key design and build, whereby an International Golf Architect is selected to provide the golf course design and TLI complete the construction, whilst also taking care of all administration and contractual agreements.

 

MAINTENANCE

Tropical Landscaping International understands the importance of the condition of the golf course to the profitability and function of a golf course.

For that reason we strive to ensure that we provide the best maintenance service possible for the available budget of a facility. Services provided include:

Routine Maintenance

TLI will provide the staff and equipment to carry out the routine maintenance of the course. Existing course staff can be integrated into the maintenance crew as appropriate.
In the development of the Maintenance Plan, TLI will also take into account peak playing times and the flow of traffic through the course to minimize the impact of course maintenance and to enable maximum usage.

Specialized Problem Solving

TLI’s team of Asian based experts is available to analyze specific course and maintenance problems and develop an action plan to allow staff to respond to those problems. This may include, for example, the diagnosis and treatment of a specific grass disease requiring specialized treatment.

Irrigation

Uniform and efficient irrigation is essential for the maintenance of turf vigor. Improved economy of water usage provides cost savings while effective maintenance means facility upgrades are required only when necessary.

Drainage

Vital in Asian climates that experience high amounts of rainfall, TLI can advise clients on drainage pattern, size and spacing and in related areas such as disposal of excess water.

Plant & Equipment
